Access to early care and education is not only important for the healthy development of young children, but also the economic resiliency of the family and broader community.

Access to child care and education services allows parents to access employment, training, or educational opportunities - often equating to increased earnings and greater economic mobility.

Additionally, every dollar invested in early care and education has an estimated 10-13% return as children with high quality early education experience are more likely to graduate high school, attend college, attain higher earnings, and lower involvement with the criminal justice system.

We, in collaboration with First 5LA, invite our partners within the business community to join our efforts and become Early Childhood Education (ECE) Champions.

From becoming an ECE advocate, to implementing family-friend policies and practices, there is no shortage of ways to demonstrate your appreciation for the role ECE plays in our economy.
